Terms of Use

Using Milo means accepting these terms. They do not need to be long or unreadable, so we have kept them short enough to actually read.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

1. Who this is between

This agreement is between Muratcan Yusufoğlu ("we") and you, the person using Milo. You can reach us at myapps.feature@gmail.com.

2. The service

Milo lets you keep sentences from books, track what you read, and — if you choose — send one of your quotes to a reader you do not know, as a letter. We may improve, change or discontinue the service; we will give reasonable notice of a significant change.

3. Your account

An anonymous account is created for you the first time you open the app; we ask you for nothing. You may attach an email address later, and we recommend it: if you delete the app without attaching one, your content cannot be recovered. You are responsible for your account and for what is done with it.

4. Subscriptions (Milo Pro)

5. Your content, and zero tolerance

What you share through Milo Post is your content, and it is your responsibility.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. The following are forbidden outright; where they are reported or detected, the content is removed and the account is closed without warning:

Every letter passes an automatic filter before it is sent. You can report any letter you receive and block its sender. Reports reach myapps.feature@gmail.com and are reviewed within 24 hours. Users found to be abusing the service lose access permanently.

6. Copyright

Milo exists so you can keep passages from books. When you share a quote through Milo Post, you confirm that you have the right to share that passage. This is why the app limits how long a shared quote may be.

If you own rights in a work and believe something shared through Milo infringes them, write to myapps.feature@gmail.com. Please identify the work, the content you believe infringes it, and your basis for claiming the rights. We will review it and remove the content where that is warranted.

The app itself — its name, artwork, the character Milo, its design and its code — belongs to us.

7. What you must not do

8. Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you like, from Profile → Account in the app or from this page. We may close your account if you break these terms. Once closed, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

Milo is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. We are not responsible for content other users send you, though we do undertake to review what you report and act on it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by agreement, including any statutory rights under the law of the country you live in.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, whose courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings there.
